Crystal Brook Carnival
Congratulations to the 4 swimmers who competed at Crystal Brook Carnival. Caitlin, Annalise, Centaine and Logan. While full results are not available at the time of this article being written it appears that many PB’s were swum on the day.

The club also wishes Harrison all the best with his broken arm which prevented him from competing on the weekend – and look forward to him getting back into the pool in the new year.

Country Championships & Superfish Carnival
All swimmers and families need to start considering if they will be attending the major South Australian country meets of the year in Broken Hill from the 13th to the 16th of January. Families will need to register their interest so that accommodation can be booked. This is a club supported event with most accommodation costs being met by the club.

Superfish - All swimmers under the age of 13 are eligible to compete at the Superfish carnival on the 13th January. This allows swimmers the opportunity to swim at a major meet in preparation of future country championships meets. These meets are amazing and all swimmers will of course be encouraged to stay on for the entire meet and support the club. The club will be supporting accommodation and travel costs for this event and it would be great to see a strong group of swimmers participate

Country Championships – Please note changes to qualifying conditions for this years Country Championships. Swimmers are now required to have swum qualifying times at a Qualifying Meet within the last 12 months. No longer can you nominate for an event in the hope of swimming the time on the day. There is only one recognised meet left to qualify which is the Port Pirie Swimming SA Qualifying meet being held on the 11th December. Please ensure if you think you could qualify for an event that you make yourself available to swim at this meet. Please discuss with the coaches who will be able to tell you how close you are to qualifying for this meet. Once again we would like to send a strong team again this year and hopefully bring home some more medals.
