New Committee
We would like to welcome Megan Bullman to our committee. Megan is a member of our local community and even though she has no children currently involved in the swim club, she has volunteered to be our club’s treasurer. Megan has recently completed an accounting course and I am sure will be a great asset to the treasurer role and our committee. The club would like to thank Megan for her generous commitment of time and we look forward to a great season ahead.

Thankyou to CEG and Precision Engineering
The club and in particular the coaches have been provided with a fantastic new equipment cage which will make set up and pack down at each and every training session much easier. The cage will be used to store training equipment, coaching tools and will even have space to keep water bottles on ice during training.

A BIG THANKYOU to Precision Engineering, for providing the materials and CEG who supplied their apprentice’s time to complete the job. These guys have done a great job and we really appreciate all their efforts.

What Else Is Happening?
Preparations for our carnival - Scheduled for Saturday 13th November - are well underway, thanks to our carnival committee (Julie Greenfield, Michelle Casserly and Jenny Longmire) They will soon be looking to secure volunteers for the day with over 40 positions to fill. Trophies are being ordered and sponsorship request letters being sent out. If you would like to assist in any way please contact them using the email address.

New Training Equipment has been purchased for the season, including new hand paddles, forearm paddles, snorkels and Tec Tocs. This equipment will ensure the swimmers have top of the line equipment and training aids to assist with training drills and ultimately improve their performance.

The club is currently purchasing pop up shades for use at our carnival as well as other events which we travel to around the state. These shades will be printed with our club logo and ensure that we can continue our focus on being a sun smart club.
